 “Works for Me”—aka “The Introvert’s Anthem”—is a song that focuses on the importance of personal boundaries and how, over time, we learn to define and defend our space—despite societal conventions or promises of love or success or security. “Works for Me” recasts the notion of being “lonely” as an empowered state defined by hard-won self-knowledge.
